Hampstead Health is home to a modern, purpose-built Hemodialysis Centre providing high-quality care for patients with Chronic Kidney Failure.
Hemodialysis is a life-sustaining treatment that removes waste and excess fluid from the blood using a special filter within a dialysis machine. This process is performed through a surgically-prepared access point in the bloodstream.
Our centre offers both in-facility treatments and training for home-based dialysis, empowering patients with flexible, expert-led care.

Home Hemodialysis Training Centre
In addition to our main treatment wards, we provide a dedicated Home Hemodialysis Training Centre with five chairs.
This service helps suitable patients learn how to perform dialysis treatments safely and independently at home—offering more freedom and improved quality of life.
Do I Need Dialysis?
If you’re experiencing symptoms or have concerns related to kidney health, please speak to your GP. A referral is required before commencing treatment at the centre.
